You and Survival

I would go to any extent to insure my survival. Life is of such great importance and cost. It literally is everything. If you have no life, you do not have anything. It makes sense that anyone would do whatever it takes to survive. If in war, anyone would kill the enemy to survive. If living in the jungle, anyone would kill any animal to survive. The pursuit of survival does not only go with humans but animals as well. Animals kill other animals and sometimes each other to survive everyday. Humans, long ago, had to do the same thing. Everyday was a test of survival. If you did not take action, try to survive, you died by starving to death. Even today we have people fighting each other for meals to survive. I think that basically what it comes down to, there are going to be other people that are bigger and stronger than you, there always has and always will be. But a factor not put out there to many people is that if the weaker man has more ambition to survive, he is going to beat the bigger man. The will to survive is in everything around us: animals, plants, and us. You are nothing when you reach the point where you do not try to survive. With this being said, I am willing to do whatever possible to survive, no matter how cruel, gruesome, or inhumane it is. Anyone would.

Cat and a Hat

there once was a cat,
that had a big hat.

but after a nap,
the cat could not find his hat

he looked and looked,
but could not find the hat.

then the cat went back,
back to where he had taken is cat nap.

there on the pillow where he had taken his nap,
laid his big hat, covered in sap.

Cost of Life

Some people would be givin this topic and would be filled with consternation. When I was given this topic to write about, I found it unwonted to be thinking about this in English class. When I thought about it, it beset my brain. Then I realized that, in my eyes, the cost of life is determined by the life of the person honestly. It can be valued greatly, endangered, or just neglected. Either way, life should be of great value to anybody and everybody. Without life, obviously, you would not be living, and no body wants to die or to be without life. There are peole that are morose and feel this way about life, and no longer want to persue it. To some people, life can be living in a ferine way, or city, or some other way of life.  In my perspective, we should all live each day like it's our last. No one knows when they are going to die, so it makes sense that we should enjoy life and live it to it's highest while we still have it, right? We should all try to make the next day the best we can by loving each other, being happy, and helping others. Without life, you would not have your friends, family, or anything you have now. So it makes sense to live for the things we love and want in our hearts. The cost of life is everything. We only have one life, so we live life to the best we can and enjoy while we have it.

Frankenstein Paragraph

The monster that Frankenstein created is more human than Frankenstein. I think this because throughout the novel, Frankenstein mainly seeks revenge and it is the only feeling he really shows. Humans show many feelings, not just one of hate. The monster shows caring and compassion and wants belonging by having a love; by having a companion like himself. Frankenstein's monster was brought into this world in a un-human way by Frankenstein. Frankenstein bringing the monster to life and creating him makes him less human. The only person that should be able to create humans should be god. So, when Frankenstein goes against god's will, to match him, it totally down grades Frankenstein to being less than a human. The man that he created is more human because of the characteristics he displays and the feelings he posesses.

Initial Thoughts About Frankenstein

Of what I have read of Frankenstein, I am pleased to say that it is very hard to read. It is not that I can't read it, but that I do not understand the words that are used in this time period of the world. I can tell that it is a very inspirational work. It inspires me to try new things like using words that I do not normally use and also write differently.
What I do know about the story is that it is a man writing a story; a story within a story. This story is about a doctor named Frankenstein and he creates life in the human form. Everyone calls the life created, "Frankenstein Monster", when really he is not a monster at all, but a amazing experiment. He is a amazing discovery that would change life as we know it.

Frankenstein

If I were given the ability of being able to create life, I would become the ruler of the world. If I were to make life, I would be known as the smartest, richest, and most powerful human ever, though these are not the reasons I would create such a wonderful thing as life. I would do it for a far more better cause than that. I would create life to better the life of the living, and to comfort those who are without.
By creating life I would better the life of the living by supplying them with body parts that they might need. Say that someone got into a car wreck and needed a heart or a lung, but no one donate or a match to go with them. I would create life, a clone if you will, that matches that person exactly in every physical way so that that person will have someone that's a perfect match for any body part needed.
Another reason I would create life is so that all the people that are alone out there, could have someone to love them and show them affection forever and always. Not everyone out there can find someone to be with that will love them for who they are, give them what they need, and do whatever they want them to. the life that I will create will do these things and more. You will have someone to always be there for you, love you, and give you what you need and want.
There can be many positive things from creating life. You can help people in many ways, become rich, powerful, and smart. There is no doubt that if I were offered the ability of being able to create life that I would take it.
